The Centre of Geographic, Biological and Community Studies, Civil Society (GEOGICOM), is a non-profit civil organization dedicated to scientific research as a tool for the conservation of Mexico’s natural and cultural resources.

Geobicom, S.C. was created in 2002 as an effort of biologists, geographers, geologists and landscape architects in order to contribute with biological and Community development studies, geographic information systems, remote sensing and databases to the biodiversity and indigenous cultures conservation from our country..

Our main activities are divided into two categories: i) scientific research and community development projects directed towards natural resource conservation. These projects are developed mainly in south of Mexico (Oaxaca and Veracruz), and ii) activities of consultancy and training regarding our specialities in other regions of Mexico.
