About Us

Geobicom is a non-profit organisation, created in 2002, with the objective of supporting Mexico’s natural and cultural resource conservation. Our NGO has six founder members and an executive committee:

Additionally, scholars with different specialities, such as biology, geology, geograpy, and agronomy, and engaged in different phases of education from undergraduate, to masters, and doctoral studies collaborate in our organisation. Our organisation also has collaborative links with Biology Institute of UNAM, Ecosystems Research Centre (campus Morelia) of UNAM, Ecology Institute of UNAM, Faculty of Biological and Agricultural Sciences of University of Veracruz, University of Kent in the United Kingdom, and with several domestic and international NGOs.
